Sophia Elise is an indie-folk singer songwriter from Oklahoma City, now based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She grew her roots in the acclaimed folk band The Annie Oakley, taking notes from Alela Diane, Laura Veirs, and Haley Heynderickx. Sophia’s songs have a graceful elegance that invite the listener to lean in and ponder their own stories.
She will play live at The Laughing Goat for the second time, along with Abbigale Dawn & Hunter Hicks.

Hunter Hicks will open the show at 8pm. Hunter’s debut EP entitled “Dead Birds” (June 2019), includes six original compositions. Inspired by the likes of songwriters such as Townes Van Zandt and John Prine, “Dead Birds” is a ode to the tradition of songwriting, with an indie rock, country/folk tone.
