Skiing in Denali National Park w/ Jason Maurer

Skiing in Denali National Park w/ Jason Maurer

Alaska – Home to some of the best skiing in the world, this venue offers enough ski descents for multiple lifetimes. But that same vastness can be very overwhelming and intimidating for those considering a trip; we can help with that.

Join this free 1-hour clinic to learn about skiing in Denali National Park & Preserve firsthand from Jason Maurer, an AMGA Assistant Ski Guide & AIARE Avalanche Training Course Leader with Colorado Mountain School.

Jason’s stories will focus on Pika Glacier, or Little Switzerland, a popular steep skiing destination in the Alaska Range. Jason will give a rundown of the gear required to take on Alaska, cover how to plan, answer questions about our guided trips to AK, and more.

Jason’s workshop starts at 6:00pm at Neptune Mountaineering. Come early for happy hour (starting at 5pm) to grab deals on pints, make new ski partners, check out the latest gear and snag a seat.

This event is free, but please RSVP with a free ticket so we can get an accurate seat count. See you there!
